    Byte-Sized Brief

    • Calculates the best bedtime from your sleep patterns.
    • Sends reminders to help you stay on track.
    • Available now in beta on select Galaxy Watches.

Samsung’s newest sleep tool, called Bedtime Guidance, is rolling out as part of One UI 8 for Galaxy Watches. The feature uses your last few days of sleep data to suggest an ideal bedtime based on how tired your body actually is and when it naturally wants to rest. It’s designed to help you feel more refreshed and alert by aligning your sleep schedule not with just the clock, but your real-life rhythms.

Even if your bedtime has been all over the place lately, your watch will send you reminders when it’s time to wind down and nudge you toward consistency. This could be perfect for anyone dealing with inconsistent bedtimes after chaotic weekends, and it’s built right into the watch, so there’s no need to download another sleep app on your phone. The feature is currently in beta for a limited number of users and will officially arrive with the Galaxy Watch 8 later this year.

    The Bottom Line

Samsung’s Bedtime Guidance feature, coming to One UI 8, analyzes your recent sleep patterns to calculate your best bedtime and then helps you stick to it with reminders.
