There’s no shortage of streaming services out there, which makes it tough to stay loyal to just one. Apple TV has Severance, Netflix gave us Squid Game and Yellowjackets is a must-watch on Paramount. If you’re tired of hopping between subscriptions or just want to save a few bucks, there’s a limited-time Fourth of July deal that might help.

Right now, you can snag Paramount Plus Essential or Paramount Plus Premium for just $0.99 per month for two months, down from the usual $8 and $13 a month, respectively. The deal is open to new and returning subscribers and runs through July 13. Be sure to sign up before the deadline to lock it in.

Both plans give you access to 40,000 episodes and movies, live sports like NFL on CBS and the UEFA Champions League, and also allow you to stream on up to three devices at once. Just note that the Essential plan includes ads and only offers select Showtime originals. The Premium plan, on the other hand, is mostly ad-free, lets you stream CBS live and even download your favorite content.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

The platform houses some of the best shows out there, from Twin Peaks to Yellowjackets, Dexter, Star Trek: Picard, and Why Women Kill. I loved spotting classics from my childhood — Jimmy Neutron, The Fairly OddParents, SpongeBob SquarePants, and even Blue’s Clues — oh, the nostalgia. Once this promotion ends, you will be charged the regular monthly rate, which is $8 for the Essential plan and $13 for Paramount Premium.

CNET is always covering a wide array of deals on tech products and much more. Start with the hottest sales and discounts on the CNET Deals page, and sign up for the CNET Deals Text to get daily deals sent straight to your phone. Add the free CNET Shopping extension to your browser for real-time price comparisons and cash-back offers. And peruse our gift guide, which includes a full range of ideas for birthdays, anniversaries and more.

    Why this deal matters

Subscription costs can add up fast when you’re using multiple platforms. This deal gets you Paramount Plus Essential or Premium for less than $1 a month, which is the cheapest way to catch up on your favorite shows, at least for the next two months.
