Finding a good deal on a laptop can sometimes be hard. The cheap ones have awful specs, and the usable ones are often on the expensive side. This Dell laptop is very usable, if you ask me, and now, it’s a whopping $400 off—and the new discounted price is pretty good as well.

Dell’s 14 Plus laptop has pretty nice specs, but it comes at a price—it has a $1,100 MSRP. Right now, though, you can get one for just $700. That’s $400 knocked off its retail price, and it makes for a great deal for anyone looking for a decently specced Windows laptop.

The XPS 14 and XPS 16 are getting replaced.

This laptop is powered by the 8-core Intel Core Ultra 7 256V with Intel Arc Graphics and a 47 TOPS NPU, and it’s well-suited for general productivity, school work, and everyday computing tasks. It won’t play a lot of games, if that’s what you’re after, but it’s still pretty neat. The laptop features a 14-inch 2.5K (2560 x 1600) anti-glare display, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and it has an aluminum chassis that provides a premium feel and is resistant to fingerprints. It has a battery life going up to 13 hours, making it ideal for on-the-go use. Connectivity options include Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI 2.1.

All Dell 14 Plus models seem to have a discount of $400 or more right now, but this specific model is the sweet spot between performance and price. You’ll have to act quickly if you want to get one of these, though.
