Home internet doesn’t have to cost a fortune; I’m always looking to save wherever I can and I suspect you are, too. My usual shopping around method is how I found this home internet deal that promises to lock in today’s prices for the next five years.

The price lock guarantee caught my eye: Verizon has two 5G Home Internet deals that can help you save as much as $900 over the next three years*.

    Limited Time Offer

Switch to one of Verizon’s 5G Home Internet plans and you can lock in today’s price on your Internet plan for 3 years (5G Home Plus).* (The 5G Home plan locks in pricing for 2 years.) At a $25/month savings on either plan, that translates to $300 in annual savings.

    5G Home

This internet package has everything you need to stream all your favorite content and get the internet access you need for basics like checking email or making video calls. It’s a smart plan for smaller households.

Prices are guaranteed for up to 2 years for new subscribers.*

Now just $35/mo (regular price $60/mo), Verizon provides a dual-band router and Wi-Fi extender.

    • Download speeds: Up to 300 Mbps
    • Upload speeds: Up to 20 Mbps
    • Video streaming: Up to 1080p
    • Ultra HD 4K video streaming
    • $100 Amazon gift card

Internet speeds are determined by your location, plan, and network used; 4K compatible devices are required for Ultra HD. With either home internet plan, you can also bundle in things like Disney, Apple One, Apple Music Family, unlimited cloud storage, Google One AI Premium, and/or YouTube Premium at additional discounted rates.

    5G Home Plus

This upgraded package is for households that need a bit more gusto from their internet service, such as those with home offices, multiple devices, multiple family members, or avid gamers.

With 5G Home Plus, you can download large files quickly (anyone up for a full HD movie?), play online games without any lag, plus handle all the basics like video calls, email, and more.

Prices are guaranteed for three years for new subscribers.*

Now just $55/mo (regular price $80/mo), Verizon provides a dual-band router and Wi-Fi extender.

    • Download speeds: Up to 1000 Mbps
    • Upload speeds: Up to 75 Mbps
    • Video streaming: Up to 1080p
    • Ultra HD 4K video streaming
    • $200 Amazon gift card
    • Netflix and Max (with ads) free for the first 12 months

Netflix and Max (with Ads) are included for the first 12 months with the 5G Home Plus plan, which could save you additional monies each month if you use those services. You can link current accounts during registration but you will need to manage your subscriptions appropriately to be sure you don’t wind up with multiple subscriptions.

One nice thing about Verizon’s 5G Home Internet options is that the company will help you cover early termination fees from another provider.

The Wi-Fi extender is a handy addition, too, that will help you get the internet coverage you need in your home.

Verizon doesn’t require a contract or charge early termination fees, and the rental cost of the router and Wi-Fi extender is already included in the monthly price.

    Prices and promotions change regularly.

Limited Time Offer: Special Gifts for New 5G Home Plus Subscribers

    Lifewire

For a limited time, Verizon is also offering new 5G Home Plus Internet subscribers a Samsung 43” Class Crystal UHD TV (U7900F)or a Meta Quest 3S (128GB).

The television is valued at $329 while the Quest is valued at $299. Both are a great little addition to any home; the offers can be redeemed after 5G Home Plus account activation according to Verizon’s specific terms for the item you select.

Like the TV offer? You could also upgrade to a 55″ version of the same model for just $100.

    Verizon 5G Home Internet Availability

    Verizon

Verizon’s internet plans are available nationwide, although not necessarily in every town or city.

The company offers a ‘find coverage’ feature on its site to help you determine coverage availability in different locales. The image shown here displays current availability as of early 2025 in general locations and states.

*Offers are applicable for new Verizon Home Internet (‘VHI’) households who have not subscribed to a VHI service within the last 90 days. Applies only to the then-current base monthly rate exclusive of any other setup and additional equipment charges, discounts or promotions, plan perk and any other third-party services. Pricing is dependent on the chosen plan.
