Power stations are quickly replacing gasoline generators. They’re quieter, safer, require less maintenance, and don’t erupt into a fireball when the instructions aren’t followed. I’m also seeing more campsites, festivals, and commercial outdoor markets starting to prohibit the old generator.

Power stations are great, but they aren’t cheap, running into the hundreds and even thousands of dollars, so any time you can grab a discount is a good day. And if you’ve been looking for a power station, I have the discounts.

Bluetti, one of the premium power station manufacturers, is slashing prices for Labor Day, and there are some truly unmissable deals on offer. I’ve been using Bluetti power stations extensively for many years and have no hesitation recommending any of these units.

The AC200L is the biggest power station on sale now. This is a 2048Wh unit capable of 2400W output (3600W surge), and has an array of AC, USB, 12V, 48V/8A DC port, and even a 30A RV port. This can be charged using AC, solar, or the Charger 1 560W DC-to-DC car charger. The regular price for the AC200L is $1,599, but this has been slashed by 44% to $899.

We go from large to small, with the Elite 30 V2 only packing 288Wh, but capable of outputting 600W (1,500W surge), which means that despite weighing only 9.4 lbs, it can still handle the likes of kettles and toasters. It has all the ports you’d expect — AC, USB, 12V, and even DC — and is built around long-life LiFePO4 batteries. Usually priced at $299, you can pick up the Elite 30 V2 for $199.

Another small power station that packs a punch is the EB3A. This one has 268Wh of power and is capable of 600W output (1,200W surge), which is perfect for camping. The EB3A has all the ports that you need, and at under 10 lbs, it’s highly portable.

With the AC50B, we have a power station that fits in between the big AC200L and the small Elite 30 V2 and EB3A. The AC50B is a 448Wh unit that can push out 700W of power (1,000W surge) in a package that’s still less than 15 lbs. With an array of ports, from AC to USB to a 12V/10A car port, the regular price for the AC50B is $399, but has now been cut by 35% to an unbeatable $259.

Lastly, Bluetti offers a specialist bit of kit in the form of a power bank designed to keep CPAP machines running. This 297Wh is designed to power most CPAP and BiPAP devices on the market, such as the ResMed S9, AirSense 11, AirSense 10, Aircurve 10, AirMini, and Philips DreamStation, and keep them running for five to seven nights. Along with the three DC output ports for CPAP machines, the X30 has a USB port for topping up smartphones, tablets, and e-readers.
