When the foldable fone revolution first started back in 2019, Samsung led the charge, and now the South Korean manufacturer is back with its seventh-generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 — arguably its most impressive smartphones to date.
When open, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 boasts a massive 8-inch interior display. It’s also significantly thinner and lighter than its predecessor, with its closed thickness nearly matching that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
On top of being thin enough to pass as a regular slate-style smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 now boasts the same 200MP main camera and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as found in the S25 Ultra and S25 Edge. Add to this its multiple displays and folding form factor, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 now takes the crown as Samsung’s most premium phone.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 now sports a cover display that goes all the way to the edges, making it even more useful while closed, as well as an inner display that’s taller and wider than before.
Samsung is a Tom’s Guide preferred partner (What does that mean?)
If those upgrades weren’t incentive enough, Samsung’s also offering an incredible deal on select accessories when you pre-order either model. Picking up a Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Flip 7 will also entitle you to 30% off any of the new Galaxy Watch products and select Galaxy Buds, including:
