    Byte-Sized Brief

    • Samsung confirmed the next Unpacked event for July 9.
    • Unpacked Will showcase Galaxy AI and smartphones.
    • A $50 Samsung.com credit is available for device reservations.

Samsung has confirmed the next Unpacked event is scheduled for July 9 at 10 a.m. ET, in Brooklyn, New York. The company also plans to livestream the event on the Samsung Newsroom, Samsung.com, and Samsung’s YouTube channel. The press release announcing the event didn’t include many details; however, it mentioned expanded AI capabilities and new devices coming to the Galaxy ecosystem.

We expect to see the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Z Flip 7 confirmed at this event. To give more weight to that expectation, Samsung announced that anyone who reserves the latest devices can earn a $50 Samsung Credit good on the Samsung.com website. This promotion starts immediately (so, we’re assuming it includes the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 and maybe even the Galaxy S25 Edge, since the event doesn’t take place until July 9), but the company has not shared when it might end.

    The Bottom Line

Samsung has confirmed its annual Unpacked event which usually includes new software and hardware announcements. To bolster that, the company is offering a $50 Samsung.com credit to anyone who orders the latest devices starting immediately (which presumably means the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6).
