The Indiana Pacers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 108-91 in Thursday’s game. With the series tied at 3-3, the two teams will face off one last time tonight for the 2025 NBA championship.

Tyrese Haliburton’s injury cost the Pacers a Game 5 win, but he was able to come back in Game 6 with 14 points and five assists. The Pacers’ lead at the end of the third quarter stretched to 30 points — the Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams tried mightily to keep them in the game, but couldn’t close the gap.

That brings us to Game 7, the last chance the Pacers and Thunder have to win this year’s championship. The final game is tonight at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

Here’s how to watch the big moments for free even if you don’t have a streaming subscription with live TV.

How to watch the NBA Finals for free

You can catch the Finals for free on the NBA’s YouTube livestream, but you’ll need a virtual private network. Since the game is geo-locked to India, the right VPN that can connect to a server in India to watch the final  game.

CNET’s VPN experts recommend ExpressVPN if you want watch the NBA Finals. It’s a paid VPN that costs $13 a month, but a free trial is available.

Our experts don’t typically recommend free VPNs for streaming region-locked sports games because you usually can’t choose the server location. Free VPNs also usually have less-than-ideal speed and you usually can’t control your privacy or data sharing.

ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN and it works on a variety of devices. It’s normally $13 a month but if you sign up for an annual subscription for $100 you’ll get three months free and save 49%. That’s the equivalent of $6.67 a month.

Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
