Although not without its issues, the Lenovo Legion Go’s large display, removable controllers, and versatility make it a top choice among PC gaming handhelds.

If you’re looking for a powerful and portable PC gaming device, the Lenovo Legion Go 8.8-inch handheld gaming PC is a great choice. Right now is a great time to buy one thanks to its $100 discount, dropping it to $649.99 at Best Buy.

The Lenovo Legion Go is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, a high-performance chip built for mobile gaming. The device can easily run demanding AAA games with 16GB of fast 7500MHz LPDDR5X RAM and a large 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD. This powerful hardware ensures smooth gameplay at high frame rates, which is a big improvement over many other handheld consoles.

The device’s 8.8-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) display has an amazing 144Hz refresh rate, providing sharp visuals and incredibly smooth motion. While you can lower the resolution to 800p at 60Hz to save battery life, the high refresh rate option makes it stand out. Sure, the Lenovo Legion Go S is out, but that’s hundreds of dollars more than the price asked for by Best Buy.

Beyond just performance, the Legion Go stands out with its smart design. The detachable wireless controllers are comfortable and precise, and a unique feature lets you use one of them as a mouse. This is especially useful for strategy games and first-person shooters. A built-in kickstand makes it easy to play for long sessions.

The $100 discount makes the Legion Go an even better deal. While its original price of $749.99 was already competitive for what it offers, the lower price of $649.99 on Best Buy makes it a much more attractive option. If you’ve been waiting for the time to buy one, now is probably the best time.
