Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge is already AU$400 off for EOFY, just weeks after its release

It may have only just been released a few weeks ago, but the impressively thin Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has already had its price slashed by an astonishing AU$400 in this month’s EOFY sales.

As someone who already uses the Galaxy S25 Ultra as his daily driver, I’m not personally drawn to the Galaxy S25 Edge, though I do see the appeal of a super-slim smartphone that boasts flagship-level specs.

If you’ve been eyeing Samsung’s latest premium handset but have been waiting for its price to come down, that time is already here! Amazon is currently selling the 256GB model Galaxy S25 Edge for just AU$1,849 AU$1,449, while the 512GB model is only AU$2,049 AU$1,649.

Those prices apply to the Titanium Jetblack and Titanium Silver colour variants, though you can get the same AU$400 discount on the Samsung online store, which also offers the exclusive Titanium Icyblue colourway.

In our review of the Galaxy S25 Edge, we praised the device’s svelte design, but weren’t too pleased by the trade-off in battery life that came as a result of its ultra-thin body.

Still, there’s no denying that this is a premium flagship, sporting the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 200MP main camera as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which not only tops our best Android phones in Australia list, but also sits in first place on our overall best phones 2025 roundup.

Normally, I’d recommend paying a little extra for the no-compromise Galaxy S25 Ultra, but this huge AU$400 discount on the Galaxy S25 Edge certainly makes the device a more appealing prospect.
