The new Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro were unveiled at the Made by Google event last week, and are now available for preorder. If you’re a T-Mobile customer (or looking to switch carriers), you can get a Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro for free with an eligible plan or device trade-in.

And families looking to upgrade can get up to four free Pixel 10/Pixel 10 Pro devices for even more savings.

The Google Pixel 10 offers 128GB of internal storage and is built with a Google Tensor G5 chip for enhanced multitasking and more efficient power usage. It also boasts a slightly larger battery than the Pixel 9, giving you up to 30 hours of use on a full charge compared to the 24 hours you get with the Pixel 9.

It’s built with native Google Gemini AI capabilities for text-to-speech, searching the web, and analyzing information for easy-to-read summaries. The 6.3-inch display produces 1080p resolution for viewing photos, video playback, and browsing the web.

Read the review: I tried the $799 Google Pixel 10, and wasn’t envious of the Pro models at all

The Google Pixel 10 Pro offers the same 128GB of internal storage, Tensor G5 CPU, and Gemini AI integration with a few premium extras like a higher resolution of 2856 x 1280 and AI-assisted photo and video editing.

The Pixel 10 Pro also supports Pixelsnap wireless charging for faster and more reliable power, as well as eSIM technology, so you can have multiple numbers on one device. This makes it a great option for anyone who needs both a work and personal number or a number for making international calls.

To get your free Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro, you have to either be an existing T-Mobile customer, or switch to a qualifying T-Mobile plan. You also have to enroll in AutoPay and are responsible for all applicable fees and taxes. The value of the phone is issued as 24 monthly credits to your bill, and can take up to two billing cycles to appear on your statement.

Your T-Mobile account has to stay active and in good standing for the entirety of the 24-month credit cycle to qualify; if you cancel your plan or miss a payment, you are responsible for the remaining full retail price of your device, up to $1,000.

    How I rated this deal

Even when you still have to pay taxes and fees, getting a brand new Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro practically for free is a steal of an offer. The promotion is open to both new and existing T-Mobile customers, which means you won’t have to jump through any hoops to qualify for your free device if you already have an eligible mobile plan.

And with the option to get up to four free devices, it’s a great way for families to upgrade their phones all at once (just in time for back-to-school season).

T-Mobile hasn’t given an definitive end-date for their free Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro promotional offer, only indicating that it’s a “limited time” event. However, T-Mobile may end the promotion early if they have a large influx of preorders or if Google limits the number of free devices that can be given away.
