    Byte-Sized Brief

    • AI automates redaction of sensitive business data.
    • Ensures compliance with global regulations.
    • Built for legal, finance, and healthcare.

Foxit recently launched Smart Redact Server, an AI-powered platform that helps businesses find and redact sensitive information from documents at scale. It’s aimed at industries where data privacy is legally required, like finance, law, and healthcare. And it goes beyond manual redaction to offer automated scans, batch processing, and integrations with major cloud storage platforms like OneDrive and SharePoint. 47 file types are supported, including PDF, DOCX, and images.

If your team is drowning in compliance work, this could lighten the load. Smart Redact Server can scan and process documents for things like PII and protected health information, without retaining data. It’s also designed to meet global regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA, while supporting multi-instance deployment in the U.S., Europe, and Canada to comply with data residency rules. Foxit PDF Editor+ is required.
