Google announced today that its AI assistant will soon be available on a lot more than just your phone. Gemini is headed to smartwatches running Wear OS, Android Auto, TVs, earbuds, and the upcoming Samsung XR headset. The idea is to bring the conversational assistant to more of your devices so that it’s always there, even when your phone isn’t.
Gemini on Wear OS will let you set reminders, get updates from apps, or check messages, all hands-free. In your car, it will offer smarter and more natural voice help through Android Auto, enabling natural conversations to build routes that are actually useful. Gemini on Google TV will be able to answer questions and recommend videos. And when Samsung’s XR headset arrives later this year, Gemini will help you plan trips or explore destinations in immersive new ways.
