OnePlus will launch two new models soon, the Ace 5 Racing and Ace 5 Ultra, and the first teaser trailer has revealed the event’s date – May 27 (Tuesday next week).

So far, the company has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra will be powered by the Dimensity 9400+ and will have a “1.5K” 120Hz display. The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing will use the Dimensity 9400e instead and will have a 1080p+ 120Hz display. These are gaming-focused phones aimed at a younger audience.

The teaser focuses on their designs and there are some interesting choices for the backs of the phones with ridged metal (“Burning Titanium”) for the Ultra and mother of pearl (“Chasing Waves”) for the Racing.

The dual camera design might remind you of the OnePlus 13T, but these Ace models are anything but small. OnePlus hasn’t confirmed the screen sizes yet, but rumor has it that the Racing model will have a 6.77” display and the Ultra will have a 6.83” display (both OLED panels). They will have suitably large 7,000mAh batteries too.
