The Poco F7 is almost here – the big announcement is scheduled for later today. That said, Poco took a slightly weird approach with this launch and it sent us review units to unbox early – here is the Silver version and the Black version.

Xiaomi has also officially confirmed the chipset inside the F7, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Note that there will be two versions – one for India with a 7,550mAh battery and a global model with a 6,500mAh battery (both with 90W charging).

One of the key details still to be confirmed officially is the price – here’s an unofficial sneak peek. The global Poco F7 (12/256GB) will have an early bird price of $340 for the global market. A price for the Philippines also leaked: 12/256GB will be PHP 24,000, while a 12/512GB model will sell for PHP 26,000. The early bird offer will subtract PHP 3,000 and there should be a PHP 1,500 voucher.

    Leaked Poco F7 pricing

For comparison, the Poco F7 Pro launched at $500, the F7 Ultra was $650 (both prices for a 12/256GB unit). The early bird pricing for both was $50 lower, so the F7 series early bird pricing goes like this: F7 for $340, F7 Pro for $450 and F7 Ultra for $600.

Neither the F7 Pro nor the F7 Ultra are available in India, so we can’t do a direct comparison. That said, $340 converts to β‚Ή29,000 or so, meaning that a sub-β‚Ή30,000 price for the vanilla F7 seems likely – we will find out for certain later today.
