How many people visit AIs like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Google Gemini each month? Whether you’re just curious about such stats or need them for your own business or research, you can now turn to Comscore for the answers.

On Thursday, the analytics firm announced that it has officially added AI usage information to its regular analysis. Comscore clients will be able to find out the number of monthly visits for 117 different AI tools across nine categories, covering both PC and mobile use.

The stats will report on popular services such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, as well as more niche products with AI features, including Canva and Grammarly. The goal is to provide businesses, advertisers, researchers, and others with insight into how many people are interacting with AI each month.

β€œThis new data set not only illustrates the rapid adoption of AI tools, but also provides the foundational metrics needed to understand how this shift in consumer behavior is impacting the entire digital ecosystem,” said Steve Bagdasarian, chief commercial officer at Comscore, in a press release. β€œAs AI continues to reshape the way consumers interact with content, these insights will be critical for brands, publishers, and content creators looking to stay ahead of the curve and capture the full potential of this evolving landscape.”

To kick off the new analysis, Comscore shared some revelations about the latest AI use.

More than 30% of people in the US actively use AI each month. The top AI tools on the desktop are OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and theΒ Canva designer. A hefty 67 million people in the US use AI on their mobile devices. Among the top categories and tasks beyond AI assistants, audio led the list with 23.8 million projected users. Image generation was second with 23 million users, followed by design with 23 million, and video generation with 22.4 million.

On the desktop, Grammarly and the Voicemod voice changer rounded out the top five. On mobile devices, ChatGPT grabbed the highest number of visitors. In second place was marketing platform Octane AI, followed by Canva, Gemini, and finally social marketing tool Beacons.
