    CMF/ZDNET

Most smartwatches cost around $200 to $400 and can look pretty clunky. CMF’s latest launch addresses both those pain points with the Watch 3 Pro, boasting a stylish, sleek design and a comparatively affordable price tag of $99 (on sale now for $79 on Nothing’s website).

Despite its price, the Watch 3 Pro packs in several features, designed for everyday exercisers aiming to track their daily workouts. It also comes with a dual-band five-system GPS for enhanced and faster activity tracking accuracy across 131 sports modes.

Also: I tried to the controversial Nothing phone that left the internet buzzing

Speaking of running, there’s an AI-powered running coach feature — similar to the Galaxy Watch 8’s Running Coach — that creates a personalized training plan based on your health metrics and activity level. Blood oxygen monitoring, stress tracking, menstrual tracking, breathing exercises, hydration and inactivity nudges, are also supported.

All this enhanced data will contribute to a user’s Active Score that ranks weekly activity. Post-workout, the watch delivers performance data like recovery time, training load, and some race pace predictions for 5K and 10Ks.

One feature the Watch 3 Pro doesn’t have, unfortunately, is sleep-tracking, which also means that physical assessments won’t be informed by sleep data. What it lacks in sleep-tracking, however, it makes up for in a 13-day battery life (which I have my doubts about with all these features). This puts the battery life at two days longer than its predecessor, the CMF Watch 2 Pro.

Also: I put my AirPods Max away within hours of testing Nothing’s new headphones

Users can also activate ChatGPT with the built-in voice recorder (enhanced by an additional microphone for audio pickup) to capture queries, notes, or reminders while out and about. The watch also offers an Essential News tool for quick access to relevant news.

The watch comes in three colorways, Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange, and is built with a metal body and silicon straps. It looks pretty snazzy and blends fashion and function — one of the many things Nothing does tremendously well.

Also: Finally, a smart ring I don’t have to charge every night (and no subscription)

The Watch 3 Pro seems to be made with everyday fitness in mind, eschewing the rugged (and frankly, unstylish) build commonly seen on hardcore smartwatches. Still, it’s got IP68 water and dust resistance, so it can be worn in (and survive) many environments.

The Watch 3 Pro is available now, with an introductory sale price of $79 but regularly priced at $99. For buyers who opt for express delivery, the watch will ship between July 24th and 28th. If you choose standard delivery, it’ll ship from the 28th through the 30th.
