    Byte-Sized Brief

    • Gemini Storybook can create custom stories.
    • Use your own files or request a certain illustration style.
    • It’s available everywhere on desktop and mobile.

Gemini’s latest talent could be stepping in as the alternate storyteller at tuck-in (provided you’re OK with a little screen time before your kids doze). The new Storybook feature allows users to create original 10-page books with AI-generated text and art, and narration too. The content can originate from a simple description you provide Gemini, or draw from user-uploaded images or documents.

Storybook also offers genre variety. Whether you’re into comic book styling, claymation, or the look of a coloring book, you can sway the final product. While Storybook seems like a no-brainer for creating personalized bedtime tales, Google stresses that it could be great for creating commemorative booklets or teaching your kids something. It’s available starting today globally on desktop and mobile devices and in over 45 different languages.

    The Bottom Line

The Gemini app can now generate storybooks with user-inspired or AI-powered content. Bedtime stories aside, Google says this tool could be great for commemorating trips or creating teachable moments.
