If there’s one area where Samsung beats Apple (other than folding phones), it’s displays. Sure, Apple’s Studio Display is gorgeous and all, but $1,599 is an awful lot for a 27-inch display. Thankfully, there are plenty of excellent Samsung options to choose from, such as this Odyssey G7 gaming monitor for $450 at B&H today, a massive savings of $350 with the automatic coupon at checkout.

Granted, you’re giving up a little resolution (it’s only 4K versus 5K on the studio display) and max brightness (350 nits versus 600 nits), and you won’t get Spatial Audio or a webcam, but you’ll get a high-refresh display thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, enabling a smooth performance for Cyberpunk 2077. It’s also got a built-in smart TV, so it can you stream Netflix videos and games without needing to connect a computer or console system.

But you’ll probably want to connect a Mac, which will look great and work right out of the box. And if you need a new one, you can save $100 on the M4 Mac mini with 512GB of storage and 24GB of RAM. So save a bundle on the Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor and grab one while it’s still $350 off at B&H. But act fast because the sale ends tonight.
